Decskill is seeking a Firewall / Junior Network Security Engineer to join our security team in Porto. You will contribute to the maintenance of security infrastructures and the implementation of security policies, working with NSX-T and Fortinet to improve IT security practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, adhere to quality standards, and support incident response and policy improvements in a dynamic IT environment.

Qualificações

• Experience implementing firewall rules in production environments.
• Experience coding security rules for firewalls.
• Familiarity with IT security and quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain security infrastructures with focus on quality and security.
• Diagnostics to resolve malfunctions and flow blockages.
• Implement and maintain security policies on devices.
• Propose improvements to security policies and best practices.
• Provide expertise in network security and guidance to teams.
• Ensure service levels (SLAs) are met.

What you can expect from us

• Operational maintenance of security infrastructures with a focus on quality, productivity, and security.
• Conduct diagnostics to identify the causes of malfunctions and flow blockages.
• Implement and maintain security policies on security equipment.
• Propose solutions to improve security policies.
• Define and implement best practices for managing security policies.
• Provide expertise in network security while offering advice, assistance, information, training, and alerts.
• Interface with experts from other domains and verify compliance with IT security and quality standards.
• Ensure the appropriate level of service quality in line with the requirements of service contracts (SLAs).

Technical Skills

• Traditional firewalls rules implementation.
• Coding security rules in Firewall.
• IT production environment (management of requests, incidents, changes, documentation, etc.).
