KCS IT in Lisbon is seeking an experienced .NET Backend Developer (Mid-level) to join our hybrid team. You will design and build scalable backend services using .NET/C# and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, strong REST APIs, microservices, Kafka, SQL, and a DevOps mindset. English fluency is mandatory, and candidates must reside in Portugal.

We are looking for an Amazing: .Net Backend Seniority: Mid-level (5+ years) Type of position: Hybrid model in Lisbon. Candidates need to be already living in Portugal! The amazing you, will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in backend software development with .NET/C#;
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, clean code, and software engineering best practices;
• Solid experience with .NET and ASP.NET Core, developing scalable and maintainable backend applications;
• Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and working with Microservices architectures;
• Strong experience with MySQL and relational databases, including SQL, database design, and query optimization;
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures, including developing and integrating producers and consumers;
• Good understanding of software testing practices, including unit and integration testing;
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and a DevOps mindset;
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in collaborative, cross-functional development teams;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand, troubleshoot, and debug complex backend applications;
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
