ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in Portugal seeks a Head of Industrial Operations to drive the transformation of existing sites and integrate a new facility. You will manage cross-functional programs, build KPI dashboards, and lead a path toward expanded team leadership across four sites.

With a strong Lean background and a proven track record in multi-site transformations, you will ensure safe, efficient production flows and robust governance. Fluent English and Portuguese are required.

Qualificações

• 10+ years in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record leading cross-site transformation/integration.
• Hands-on Lean experience (VSM/5S/SMED/Kaizen/line balancing).
• Plant layout redesign and flow optimization exposure.
• M&A integration or production transfer exposure is a plus.
• Experience with growth and team-building contexts.

Responsabilidades

• Act as operational relay of the COO across four sites, aligning strategy with day-to-day execution.
• Build consolidated view of operational performance; KPIs, dashboards, group reporting.
• Prepare and present operational reviews; flag risks and propose corrective actions.
• Progressively manage operational teams as the organization scales.
• Define, lead and track the transformation roadmap across existing manufacturing sites.
• Drive layout and flow redesign projects to optimize productivity, safety and quality.
• Lead or support Lean deployment initiatives in coordination with Lean Manager.
• Identify operational synergies between sites and standardize processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Quality, HSE).
• Support due diligence and onboarding of new facility.
• Lead production transfer: capacity planning, sequencing, risk mitigation.
• Pilot layout and flow redesign for the new site.
• Contribute to make-or-buy / outsourcing analyses as relevant.
• Close projects and capture lessons learned across integration workstreams.
• Deploy group standards and management routines across all sites.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
