Quion is expanding its international IT Infrastructure team and is looking for a Modern Workspace / M365 Engineer to join our Porto office. You will design, manage, secure and continuously improve the modern workplace environment as part of a stretched DevOps team across Porto and Capelle a/d Ijssel, near Rotterdam.

You will manage Microsoft 365 platforms, Intune, Entra ID/AD, Teams, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online, implement security controls, automate with PowerShell, and support cloud

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 or Modern Workplace environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online.
• Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, MS-102, MD-102, MS-700 and/or AZ-104.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

To support our continued growth, we are expanding our international IT Infrastructure team and are looking for a Modern Workspace / M365 Engineer to join our Porto office.

What will you do?

As a Modern Workspace / M365 Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, management, security and continuous improvement of Quion's modern workplace environment. You will work in a stretched DevOps team across Porto and Capelle a/d Ijssel (near Rotterdam, the Netherlands), ensuring that our Workspace platform remains secure, reliable and aligned with business needs. The role combines engineering, automation, security and operational excellence, with a strong focus on improving the end-user experience and driving innovation within our digital workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing, optimizing, and further developing Microsoft 365 platforms, including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Teams Phone.
• Designing and implementing modern workplace solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Managing Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, and Microsoft Enterprise ID.
• Implementing and maintaining security, compliance, and access controls within the digital workplace.
• Automating management processes using PowerShell and Microsoft tooling to increase efficiency and stability.
• Supporting cloud transformations and continuously improving the workplace environment.
• Managing endpoint security and contributing to vulnerability management and security improvement initiatives.
• Serving as the technical point of contact for complex Microsoft 365 incidents and performing root cause analyses.
• Supporting Service Desk teams with expertise, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Contributing to audits, compliance activities, and operational standards.

What do you need for this position?

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 or Modern Workplace environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online
• Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, MS-102, MD-102, MS-700 and/or AZ-104.

Preferred:

• Experience working in Agile, Scrum or DevOps environments.
• Experience within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Dutch language skills are considered a very strong advantage.
