Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to support and evolve integration solutions across major organisations. You will monitor API gateways, collaborate with analysts and developers, and contribute to data pipeline design and implementation.

Requirements include 4+ years in Application Support or Middleware, strong REST API and Kong experience, and proficiency with Google Cloud Platform and EPM systems like Hyperion Planning. English fluency is essential.

Qualificações

• Proven experience of at least 4 years in Application Support or Middleware Engineer, with a focus on integration.
• Solid understanding and hands-on REST APIs experience, including API gateways (Kong preferred) and traffic management.
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) covering resource management, cloud functions, storage, monitoring and logging.
• Experience with EPM systems such as Hyperion Planning and data integration concepts (ETL/ELT).
• Proficiency in English for global collaboration.

What will you do?

• Support and maintain existing integration solutions, ensuring efficient data exchange with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms.
• Actively participate in Change Management processes, including the analysis of requests for integration modifications, testing, and deployment.
• Monitor the performance of API gateways (Kong) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, ensuring prompt incident resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, developers, business stakeholders) to clarify data pipeline requirements.
