Aubay Portugal is seeking a Production Operations / DevOps professional to help keep our production environments running with high availability and performance across Windows and Linux. You will monitor batch processes, manage deployments, and collaborate with development teams, while driving automation, observability, security, and continuous improvement in a hybrid work model.

• Monitor and operate Windows and Linux production environments daily.

What will you do?

The project focused on supporting and operating production environments, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance across Windows and Linux platforms. Responsibilities included monitoring batch processes, resolving production incidents, managing deployments and change activities, and supporting development teams. The role also contributed to automation, process optimization, DevOps best practices, and operational documentation while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure reliable service delivery.

What are we looking for?

• Ensure the availability, stability, and performance of production environments;
• Monitor and manage batch processes using Control-M, ensuring smooth execution and SLA compliance;
• Investigate and resolve incidents, including job failures, dependency issues, and production anomalies;
• Support and operate Windows and Linux environments on a daily basis;
• Manage file transfers through CFT/Connect Express and coordinate recovery actions when needed;
• Provide technical support to development and application teams;
• Participate in production deployments, releases, and change management activities;
• Contribute to process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Promote DevOps best practices, including observability, security, and automation;
• Maintain operational documentation and support vulnerability management activities;
• Act as a technical point of contact, coordinating activities and collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.
