Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Mid Java Developer in Lisbon to join a challenging, regulated project environment. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications in an Agile team.

You will work through the full SDLC: requirements, implementation, testing, and deployment, with opportunities to integrate applications and improve development practices. Portuguese and English language skills are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of software development experience focusing on Java technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, REST Services, Oracle Database, and Git.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative software development practices.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Portuguese level C1 and English level B2 or higher.
• Nice to have: Infarmed tech stack (EJB, PrimeFaces); healthcare/regulatory experience; CI/CD and DevOps familiarity; experience with application servers like JBoss.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Mid Java Developer to join a challenging project within a regulated environment, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment, helping to deliver high-quality software solutions that support critical business processes.

As part of the development team, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and implementation to testing and deployment. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate on application integration initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and processes.

In this role, you will:

YOUR PROFILE

• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative software development practices.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Portuguese level C1 and English level B2 or more.
• Experience with application integration projects. (Nice to have)
• Knowledge of the Infarmed technology stack, including EJB and PrimeFaces. (Nice to have)
• Experience working in healthcare, public administration, or other regulated environments. (Nice to have)
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps principles.(Nice to have)
• Experience with application servers such as JBoss.(Nice to have)
