Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Metrology Lean Analyst in Evora, Portugal, to drive automation and digitalization of metrology operations. You will lead Lean initiatives across manufacturing sites, collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Plant Metrology Centers, and promote standardization within the GDM network.

You will apply Industry 4.0 principles, monitor process performance, and contribute to operational excellence under the TEOA system, while thriving in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Technical qualification: Associate or Bachelor's in Engineering/Manufacturing/Automation/Industrial Management or related field.
• Equivalent professional experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, CI, Operational Excellence, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Experience leading process improvement, digitalization, automation or transformation initiatives.
• Experience with cross-functional projects and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement automation opportunities in dimensional inspection and measurement processes.
• Support market watch on new metrology automation solutions and deployment across EMIA sites.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0 principles.
• Deploy and execute Lean Digital Metrology roadmap initiatives.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects to improve inspection efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and Plant Metrology Centers.
• Promote standardization and knowledge sharing across the GDM network.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve measurement capability and system effectiveness.
• Support integration of advanced metrology technologies into manufacturing environments.
• Contribute to operational excellence initiatives in line with the TEOA Business System.
