Job summary

ATEPELI - Ateliers du Portugal is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to enhance production standards and line efficiency. You will work closely with workshop teams to apply lean methods, optimize flows, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will lead initiatives on ergonomics and process improvements, partnering with specialists to create robust procedures and documentation across multiple workshops in Portugal.

Qualifications

• Industrial production and continuous improvement engineer with lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Hands-on process optimization on the shop floor.
• Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning with excellent communication abilities.
• Fluency in French or English.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in manufacturing efficiency using continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
• Develop robust processes and procedures, and document information for audit compliance.
• Collaborate with team leaders to define operating methods and optimize production flows.
• Assess equipment needs and create supporting materials for production teams.
