Jmg Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced MEP Lead to join a major data centre project in Portugal. You will oversee Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services from design through commissioning, coordinating with the project team, contractors and stakeholders to deliver safely, on time and to specification.

• 10+ years in large-scale construction with a strong MEP focus.
• Experience in data centre, mission-critical, industrial or similarly complex projects is highly desirable.
• Proven experience leading and managing multi-disciplinary MEP teams.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, design coordination and installation methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate all MEP activities across design, construction and commissioning.
• Manage and coordinate MEP engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and wider project teams.
• Oversee technical reviews, quality inspections and progress reporting.
• Ensure MEP works comply with project specifications, safety requirements and relevant procedures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders to maintain effective communication and coordination.
• Review MEP design documentation, technical submittals and method statements.
• Identify and resolve technical, design and construction issues to maintain project progress.
• Drive commissioning readiness and coordinate the successful testing and handover of MEP systems.
• Support project planning, forecasting and progress tracking against key milestones.
• Provide strong technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join a major data centre / mission-critical construction project in Portugal.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior MEP professional with strong experience in large-scale construction to take a key leadership role, overseeing the coordination and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work closely with the project team, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders to ensure MEP works are delivered safely, efficiently, to specification and in line with project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all MEP activities across design, construction and commissioning.

• 10+ years' experience in large-scale construction with a strong MEP focus.
• Previous experience within data centre, mission-critical, industrial or similarly complex projects is highly desirable.
• Proven experience leading and managing multi-disciplinary MEP teams.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, design coordination and installation methodologies.
• Good understanding of construction, commissioning and project delivery processes.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and technically demanding project environment.
