The Team
Chesamel has a large team of marketing experts delivering on client projects across the globe, ranging from fully integrated and embedded consultancy to ad-hoc on demand project delivery. You will be joining a collective focused on delivering excellent client servicing while leading business transformation for our clients.
About the role
The Marketing Events Coordinator will support the planning, coordination and delivery of our clients Cloud Marketing Programmes and Events across the UK and EMEA, helping to ensure that the activity is organised, well-executed and delivered to a high standard.
Working alongside Campaign Managers and senior Stakeholders, this role will coordinate event operations, supplier management, attendee communications and project administration across a range of marketing initiatives. Depending on business needs, the role may also provide support during live events and activations.

Responsibilities
Event Planning & Delivery
- Support the planning and delivery of marketing events and campaign activity across the UK and EMEA.
- Coordinate event logistics, timelines and project plans from initial brief through to completion.
- Manage venues, suppliers, catering, AV, branding, merchandise and other event requirements where applicable.
- Support the successful delivery of live events, including operational and on-site coordination where required.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure projects remain on track.
Attendee Experience
- Manage attendee registration and event communications.
- Coordinate guest lists, invitations and registration processes.
- Help create a positive attendee experience before, during and after events.
- Support speaker logistics, scheduling and presentation requirements.
Marketing & Campaign Support
- Support Campaign Managers with the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns and event activity.
- Assist with event landing pages, registration forms and campaign communications.
- Coordinate marketing assets, collateral and event materials.
- Support post-campaign and post-event communications.
Operations & Administration
- Track registrations, attendance and campaign performance metrics where applicable.
- Maintain accurate data within Salesforce and other reporting tools.
- Support reporting, insights and post-event analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, AI and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years' experience in marketing, events, project coordination or programme support.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Language: Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken), as it is the primary language used across the Cloud EMEA network.
- Operational Skills: Demonstrated experience managing basic logistics, handling third-party vendors (such as catering or printers), and maintaining timelines or runs-of-play.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with data tracking (Google Sheets) and project collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience utilising Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar) or ticketing systems like GEMS (go/gems).
- Digital Tools & CRM: Basic experience setting up digital event landing pages and utilising CRMs (such as Salesforce) for attendance tracking and lead management.
- Startup/Tech Familiarity: Experience working within or coordinating events for tech startups, venture capital (VC) ecosystems, or developer communities.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with remote, multi-country stakeholders (such as regional EMEA teams and U.S. offices).
