Job summary

Olivia Hotels Lisboa is seeking an experienced Restaurant Floor Manager/Maitre to lead the day-to-day service in our main restaurant and related outlets.

You will supervise the front-of-house team across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring a refined, guest-focused dining experience in line with Olivia Hotels Lisboa standards.

Strong leadership, hospitality background, and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Maître/Restaurant Manager or 3–5 years as Assistant Manager in upscale hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of gastronomy, service standards, and wine service.
• Excellent communication skills and a guest-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily service operations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Guide, motivate, and support the service team to maintain a professional work environment.
• Ensure adherence to service protocols, brand standards, and quality expectations.
• Organize staff scheduling, shift planning, and daily task assignments.
• Welcome guests, provide menu and wine recommendations, and deliver attentive service.
• Coordinate special setups and private events, and manage operational service needs.
• Collaborate with kitchen and management to optimize service flow and communication.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and operational reporting.
