CostaTerra Golf & Ocean Club in Melides, Portugal, seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead daily club operations and partner with department heads to elevate service and member experience.

The AGM will drive standards, oversee financials with the General Manager, mentor leaders, and ensure exceptional events and guest experiences across dining, amenities, and golf along Portugal’s Atlantic coast.

Qualificações

• At least six years of leadership experience in an established luxury hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated strength in performance management and team development.
• Sound financial knowledge, familiarity with critical-path planning, and strong proficiency with operational technology and business systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results, adapt to changing priorities, solve problems, and think strategically.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts exceeding eight hours.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily club operations through directly reporting department heads, ensuring coordination and consistent service across departments.
• Translate Discovery Land Company’s mission, values, and service standards into daily operating practices.
• Implement and monitor operating procedures to maintain service quality and address performance gaps.
• Build relationships with members, homeowners, and guests through regular engagement and timely resolution of concerns.
• Support the General Manager in financial oversight, including review of income statements, balance sheets, and capital budgets.
• Lead recruitment, training, and development of department heads and staff, with regular performance reviews.
• Provide concise daily operational summaries to the General Manager.
