Job summary

CostaTerra Golf & Ocean Club in Comporta, Portugal, currently seeks a Fleet and Transportation Manager to lead all fleet, staff transport and valet operations. You will develop schedules, manage budgets and drive service excellence for members and staff, ensuring safety, discretion and reliability.

The role requires 3–5 years in fleet/transport management within luxury settings, strong leadership, and fluency in Portuguese and English.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in fleet management and transportation operations, ideally in luxury hospitality or resorts.
• Proven leadership of multi-functional teams and rosters for extended hours.
• Valid driving licence (B) required; passenger transport licence is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations, fleet maintenance, and insurance processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet, ExCom and staff transportation, including budgets and scheduling.
• Plan preventive maintenance, vehicle documentation and safety compliance.
• Manage accidents, claims and liaise with insurers and partners.
• Lead Valet Operations and Staff Transportation with service excellence.
• Build rosters, monitor hours and ensure 24/7 coverage during peak periods.
• Coordinate transfers to airports and local destinations with punctuality.
