Job summary

Quinta da Comporta Wellness Boutique Hotel is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping operation and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will oversee the team across guest rooms, villas and public areas, maintain SOPs, and coordinate with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments.

This hands-on, luxury leadership role requires a keen eye for detail, discretion and a genuine commitment to hospitality.

Qualifications

• Solid Housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong operational, organisational and quality-control skills.
• An exceptional eye for detail and presentation.
• A genuine commitment to luxury hospitality and guest experience.
• Strong communication, sound judgement and resilience.
• Discretion and professionalism.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, organise and develop the Housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms, villas and public areas; manage daily operations and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards and prepare for quality audits.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and team development.
