Job summary

Dedale in Lisbon is seeking an investment analyst with a journalism/media background to cover targeted trade exhibitions across Europe and the US. You will credential as Dedale media, produce reports, and shoot short-form video coverage to inform senior executives.

You should be fluent in English, able to build rapport quickly at events, and comfortable traveling extensively. French/German/Spanish are a plus. This is a founding Lisbon role with a clear path to leadership as the office grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in journalism, communications or media.
• Fluent and confident English, strong storytelling.
• Ability to approach strangers, build rapport quickly, access events.

Responsibilities

• Attend targeted trade exhibitions across Europe and the US as Dedale media.
• Produce editorial deliverables: reports and short-form video coverage.
• Capture competitive intelligence and translate into senior‑audience formats.
• Write reports, conduct interviews, and grow into a thought-leadership voice.
• Travel extensively to conferences and trade shows; coordinate with topic leads.
• Grow with the Lisbon office, with a path to leading the team and strategy.
