Experimental Porto is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the busy kitchen team in Porto. You will wash dishes, maintain cleanliness, assist with basic prep and mise en place, and ensure hygiene standards are followed throughout service.

The role requires availability in the evenings, weekends and public holidays, with duties spanning waste management, packaging, and basic food handling within a high-standard hospitality setting.

Formación

• Interest in gastronomy and hospitality
• Strong organizational abilities and efficiency
• Detail-oriented with good hygiene knowledge
• Able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

Responsabilidades

• Wash dishes, cutlery, and kitchen equipment; ensure proper storage
• Clean kitchen areas, back-of-house spaces, floors and surfaces
• Assist the kitchen team with basic mise en place and prep
• Package and unpack food products as needed
• Apply and respect hygiene and safety regulations
• Sort and transport waste to designated containers
• Clear and empty plates and dishes; manage waste disposal
