Job summary

Amgen in Lisboa, Portugal, is seeking a Junior Scrum Master to join our on-site team within the Information Systems scope. The role focuses on facilitating Agile practices, sprint planning, and delivering value through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

This is a hybrid-friendly position in the Amgen Capability Center Portugal. The successful candidate will coach teams, refine backlogs with Product Owners, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining alignment with

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Certified Scrum Master or SAFe Scrum Master or similar (preferred).
• Experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence (preferred).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile events: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, demos, and backlog refinement.
• Coach the team in Agile and Scrum practices and ceremonies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a refined, prioritized backlog.
• Identify and help remove impediments, risks, blockers, and dependencies.
• Promote continuous improvement and support DevOps practices within the team.
