Job summary
Amgen Inc. (IR) seeks a Scrum Master to lead agile practices at the Capability Center Portugal. You will enable product delivery, ensure sprint fidelity, and coordinate with global teams to accelerate value for business users.
The role requires strong Scrum/SAFe knowledge, Jira/Confluence expertise, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to drive DevOps and cloud-enabled delivery across cross-functional squads.
Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master or SAFe Scrum Master required.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
- Experience guiding teams through Agile events (planning, refinement, retros).
- Proficient with Jira, Confluence and Jira Align.
- Experience in DevOps and SDLC with cloud-focused delivery.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile practices, sprint planning, and delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers and technical teams for backlog to plan.
- Communicate status and metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
- Build relationships with upstream/downstream teams and user needs.
- Drive organizational change toward DevOps and rapid delivery.
- Continuously seek innovative ways to improve velocity and value.
