Job summary

Axians Portugal is seeking a Junior Documentation Drafting & Matching Analyst to support post-trade operations in the financial markets. You will draft confirmations, review bookings, and coordinate with Trading, Legal, Compliance, IT and Operations teams across international locations. Fluency in English (C1).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Fluent English (minimum C1).
• Strong interest in Banking and Financial Operations.
• Knowledge of financial products like Swaps, Forwards, Options is valued.
• Ability to analyse documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal confirmations based on ISDA definitions for Swaps, Forwards, Options, and Hybrid Strategies.
• Review trade bookings, confirmations, and term sheets for consistency and accuracy before client distribution.
• Monitor workflows and ensure timely dispatch of confirmations according to regulatory deadlines.
• Manage post-trade events notifications, including exercises, restructurings, and terminations.
• Investigate and resolve documentation discrepancies, affirmation requests, and client queries.
• Act as internal contact for documentation and template-related escalations.
• Maintain relationships with Trading, Sales, Legal, Compliance, IT, and Operations teams across locations.
• Support process improvement initiatives focused on automation, risk management, STP.
