Zusammenfassung

Quanteam, founding entity of RAINBOW PARTNERS, seeks a Junior PnL Controller in Lisbon to join a global finance team. You will produce and validate daily and monthly P&L figures for ALM/T and Global Markets trading desks, and prepare explanations for movements and trades.

You will investigate discrepancies with Front Office estimates and review P&L attribution and hedge accounting controls where applicable, collaborating with Front Office, Back Office, Market Risk, Finance and IT across

Qualifikationen

• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Aufgaben

• Produce and validate daily and/or monthly Economic P&L figures for ALM/T and Global Markets trading desks.
• Prepare and analyse P&L explanations, identifying market movement impacts and new trades.
• Investigate discrepancies between official P&L figures and Front Office estimates with relevant stakeholders.
• Review P&L attribution and correct misallocated effects when needed.
• Analyse differences between risk-based market P&L and P&L explanations and document gaps.
• Review allocation of liquidity and interest rate effects within ALM/T portfolios.
• Perform hedge accounting controls for Finance and Front Office where applicable.
• Submit P&L figures to Front Office for review and sign-off.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Back Office, Market Risk, Finance and IT across international locations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen controls.

We are looking for a Junior PnL Controller

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce and validate daily and/or monthly Economic P&L figures for ALM/T and Global Markets trading desks.
• Prepare and analyse P&L explanations, identifying the impact of market movements, new trades and other relevant factors.
• Investigate discrepancies between official P&L figures and Front Office estimates, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
• Review P&L attribution, identifying and correcting misallocated effects when technical solutions are unavailable.
• Analyse differences between risk-based market P&L and P&L explanations, ensuring gaps are understood and documented.
• Review the allocation of liquidity and interest rate effects within ALM/T portfolios.
• Perform hedge accounting controls for Finance and Front Office, where applicable.
• Submit P&L figures to the Front Office for review and sign-off.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Back Office, Market Risk, Finance and IT teams across international locations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen controls, maintaining high standards of ethics and professionalism.
