team.it in Lisbon is seeking a security engineer to maintain and enhance security infrastructures in a hybrid work setup. You’ll contribute to Run operations, ensure quality and security, and work on policy improvements.

Expect to diagnose issues, tune firewall rules, and implement best practices for security policy management in a production environment with Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of hands-on network security experience with segmentation technologies (NSX-T, firewall rules).
• Experience implementing and maintaining security policies in production environments.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain security infrastructure with focus on Run operations, quality, and security.
• Diagnose malfunctions and flow blockages to minimize downtime.
• Define and implement best practices for managing security policies.
• Propose improvements to security policies and controls.

What you need to join us:

Mission:

Ensure the operational maintenance of security infrastructures with a focus on quality, productivity, and security (Run).

Conduct diagnostics to identify the causes of malfunctions and flow blockages.

Implement and maintain security policies on security equipment.

Propose solutions to improve security policies.

Define and implement best practices for managing security policies.

Specific expertise:

• At least 3 years of experience and confirmed experience network (micro) segmentation technologies on traditional firewalls rules implementation (NSX-T / VCF9 network, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
• Experience in coding security rules in Firewall (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
• Experience in an IT production environment (management of requests, incidents, changes, documentation, etc.).

- It’s a hybrid project in Lisbon.
