A Accenture procura um Network Security Engineer para atuar em Porto, contribuindo com a operação diária, monitoramento e entrega de projetos do ambiente de rede, com foco em segurança e estabilidade da infraestrutura.

O candidato ideal possui 5–8 anos de experiência, conhecimento em plataformas de segurança de rede e SDN (Cisco ACI), além de habilidades em automação com Python. Viagens técnicas a Paris/Bruxelas podem ocorrer.

Qualificações

• 5 a 8 anos de experiência em engenharia de redes ou segurança de redes.
• Conhecimento em plataformas de segurança de rede (Palo Alto, Check Point, F5).
• Conhecimento de SDN, especialmente Cisco ACI (configuração de EPG).
• Experiência com DNS e soluções GSLB (Infoblox).
• Compreensão de roteamento e comutação: BGP, ISIS, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, GRE, IPSEC.
• Bom conhecimento de protocolos TCP/IP e QoS.
• Experiência com automação de redes usando Python.
• Habilidades analíticas e de resolução de problemas em ambientes complexos.

Responsabilidades

• Revisar, implementar e melhorar o ambiente de rede.
• Manter e atualizar documentação relacionada a implementações de rede corporativa.
• Participar na solução de problemas de rede.
• Fornecer suporte a projetos de rede para outras equipes, incluindo implementação de serviços, atualizações operacionais e novas iniciativas.
• Contribuir para projetos de infraestrutura entregando as soluções de rede e a documentação associada.
• Realizar avaliações de vulnerabilidade, atividades de validação e atualizações em sistemas e aplicações de rede.
• Manter processos operacionais como gestão de configuração e monitoramento de infraestrutura.
• Otimizar implementações de rede atuais e contribuir para iniciativas de automação.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Security Engineer to join our team in Porto. The Network Security Engineer will contribute to the day-to-day operation, monitoring and project delivery of the network environment, with a strong focus on security and infrastructure stability.

The role involves implementing and supporting business and IT applications, maintaining production network infrastructure and configuring network devices. A key aspect of this position is conducting security reviews across the environment, including firewall management, DNS, HLB and GSLB services.

The candidate will support the ongoing transition to Software Defined Networking (SDN), ensuring that security controls evolve accordingly. The role requires analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Review, implement and enhance the network environment.
• Maintain and update documentation related to corporate network implementations.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
• Provide network project support to other teams, including the implementation of enterprise services, operational upgrades and new initiatives.
• Contribute to infrastructure and business projects by delivering the required network solutions and associated documentation.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, validation activities and upgrades on network systems and applications.
• Maintain operational processes such as configuration management and infrastructure monitoring.
• Optimize current network implementations and contribute to automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in network engineering or network security.
• Experience with Network Security platforms, including: Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, F5 Networks.
• Knowledge of Software Defined Networking, particularly Cisco ACI (EPG configuration).
• Experience with DNS and GSLB solutions (Infoblox).
• Solid understanding of routing and switching technologies: BGP, ISIS, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, GRE, IPSEC.
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and QoS concepts.
• Experience with network automation using Python.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex environments.

Legal

Must own a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space Nationality to legally work in Portugal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications (nice to have): CheckPoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE), Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS).
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
• Fluency in English (French and/or Dutch is a plus).

Additional Information

• Flexibility for regular travel to Paris or Brussels (at least 3 times a year).
• Teleworking is possible, with a minimum of 8 days per month on-site.
