Decskill is seeking a Firewall / Junior Network Security Engineer for a project in Porto. Join a growing IT consulting team with over 800 professionals across Lisbon, Porto and Madrid, part of the Astek Group.

The role focuses on operational maintenance of security infrastructures, implementing and refining security policies, and providing expert guidance in network security to ensure high-quality service and adherence to SLAs.

Qualificações

• Implement firewall rules and security configurations.
• Develop security rules in firewall systems.
• Maintain IT production environment including requests, incidents, changes, and documentation.
• Adhere to IT security and quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Operate security infrastructures with a focus on quality, productivity and security.
• Diagnose malfunctions and flow blockages.
• Implement and maintain security policies on security equipment.
• Propose improvements to security policies.
• Define and implement best practices for managing security policies.
• Provide network security expertise and guidance.
• Interface with experts from other domains and verify compliance with IT security and quality standards.
• Ensure service quality in line with SLAs.

What you can expect from us

• Operational maintenance of security infrastructures with a focus on quality, productivity, and security.
• Conduct diagnostics to identify the causes of malfunctions and flow blockages.
• Implement and maintain security policies on security equipment.
• Propose solutions to improve security policies.
• Define and implement best practices for managing security policies.
• Provide expertise in network security while offering advice, assistance, information, training, and alerts.
• Interface with experts from other domains and verify compliance with IT security and quality standards.
• Ensure the appropriate level of service quality in line with the requirements of service contracts (SLAs).

• Traditional firewalls rules implementation.
