Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Legal Counsel to review and negotiate commercial agreements, support compliance work, and advise internal teams on legal questions.

Based in Lisbon, you will engage with cross-border matters and help drive compliant business practices across jurisdictions. We welcome candidates with 1–4 years of experience, strong English proficiency, and a track record in negotiating commercial agreements.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal team.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements in English.
• Understanding of compliance matters (e.g., contractor engagement, regulatory requirements).
• Organized, proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support other team members with day-to-day legal issues.
• Review and negotiate Master Services Agreements, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs and other agreements with vendors.
• Draft and maintain contract templates.
• Support compliance work across the jurisdictions where we operate.
• Advise internal teams (sales, HR, finance, delivery) on legal questions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memos on EU and international law matters.
