Job summary

iTRTech Group in Porto, Portugal seeks a Junior DevOps Engineer to support cloud platforms and production environments. The role involves monitoring, incident management, and operational improvements, with mentorship from the team.

You will work in a hybrid model (2 days per week in the office) and grow your skills through hands-on tasks, documentation, and collaboration with the engineering team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in IT, Systems Administration, DevOps, Operations or Software Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and command-line tools, including processes, logs, and networking fundamentals.
• Initial exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker and monitoring/logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack.
• Ability to read Java, Python, or scripting languages for troubleshooting.
• Understanding of deployment processes, incident management, escalation procedures, and service-level objectives.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban, and an interest in cloud technologies and automation.
• Preferred: Foundation or Associate-level certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Linux.
