Job summary
iTRTech Group in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer for a hybrid role. You will support cloud platforms, monitor production systems, handle incident management, and contribute to deployment and automation efforts.
Ideal candidates have 1+ years in IT/DevOps, Linux basics, Docker, monitoring tools (Grafana/Prometheus/ELK), and basic cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP). Fluency in English and willingness to work on-site in Porto 2 days per week are required.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional IT/DevOps/Systems experience.
- Basic Linux knowledge and command-line skills.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Familiar with Docker and monitoring/logging tools.
- Reading Java, Python or scripting languages.
Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems and support daily platform operations.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents following procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations with mentorship and escalation support.
- Maintain monitoring dashboards, alerting rules, and observability tools.
- Assist with service checks, deployments, and configuration updates.
- Document runbooks and known issues to improve reliability.
