Job summary

iTRTech Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and operate cloud-native infrastructure, automate platform processes, and improve reliability. The role involves collaboration with development teams to support resilient, observable, and secure applications.

Based in Porto with a hybrid work model (2 days in the office per week), the position requires 5+ years of experience, strong cloud skills (AWS/Azure/GCP), and proficiency in Python or Java for automation. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Programming skills in Python or Java for automation and tooling.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of networking, distributed systems, and SRE principles.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including knowledge of Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
• Familiarity with API gateways such as Envoy and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, and Agile practices using Scrum or Kanban.
