Andaz Lisbon is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join the luxury hotel’s culinary team. You will support the daily kitchen operations under the guidance of senior chefs, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Culinary qualification or currently completing culinary training is preferred.
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment is an advantage, preferably within a hotel or restaurant setting.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to established recipes and hotel standards.
• Support senior chefs in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
• Ensure ingredients are properly prepared, stored, and labelled in accordance with food safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene throughout the kitchen and storage areas.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and monitoring stock levels within the assigned section.
• Prepare mise en place efficiently to support smooth service operations.
• Follow all food safety, HACCP, and health and safety regulations.
• Support banquet operations, special events, and private functions as required.
• Continuously develop culinary knowledge and skills through on-the-job learning and training opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
