act digital is seeking a Junior Application Support & Production Engineer to join a major European banking client in Lisbon. You will work in L2 application operations, ensuring availability and supporting production deployments.

The role covers batch scheduling with Control-M and V-TOM, middleware deployment on Tomcat/Apache, and MFT with Axway CFT/OpenSSH/XDI, plus monitoring with Dynatrace, Zabbix, and ServiceNow, requiring French B1/B2 and English B1.

Qualificações

• Junior profile with practical training or initial professional experience in IT operations.
• Proficient Linux (and Windows) CLI, file permissions, systemctl, and Bash scripting.
• Experience with application servers Tomcat/Apache and Java packaging (WAR/JAR/EAR).
• Familiarity with batch schedulers Control-M or V-TOM and MFT protocols Axway CFT, OpenSSH.
• Exposure to ServiceNow and monitoring tools like Dynatrace or Zabbix.
• French B1/B2 (written and oral) and English B1 for coordination.

Responsabilidades

• L2 Application Support & Operations (RUN Open): ensure operational availability, maintain CMDB, document, and follow up on vulnerabilities.
• Batch Scheduling & Monitoring: oversee, schedule, and execute batch chains with Control-M and V-TOM; handle runtime issues.
• Middleware & Application Integration: deploy and configure components on Tomcat/Apache, manage DataSources, support rollouts.
• File Transfers (MFT): supervise data flows via Axway CFT/OpenSSH/XDI and re-trigger failed transfers.
• Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: monitor with Dynatrace/Zabbix and track tickets in ServiceNow.
