Job summary

Adecco Human Resources is recruiting an Accounts Payable Junior Accountant for one of our aviation clients in Lisbon. You will process and validate supplier invoices, prepare payments and resolve discrepancies, while supporting expense reports and travel-related processes.

The role suits a finance or accounting graduate or junior professional, with high-volume data handling, meticulous accuracy, and good English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Junior profile or previous experience in administrative accounting tasks.
• Ability to work with high volumes of invoices and data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Intermediate level of English (mandatory).
• Knowledge of French, German or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate supplier invoices.
• Prepare invoices for payment.
• Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Review and validate employee expense reports.
• Support the management of the corporate travel platform and user accounts.
• Prepare travel and expense reports.
• Provide support to internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding payments and accounts payable topics.
• Maintain supplier account records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Accounts Payable, Finance and Procurement procedures.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
