Job summary

Verisure is seeking a talented, hands-on Junior AP Accountant to strengthen our Finance Team. Based in Lisbon, the role reports to our Shared Services Center P2P Manager and will be based in Lisbon.

This role offers exposure to a wide variety of accounting topics within a leading provider of professionally monitored alarms for residential households and small businesses in Europe & Latam. The successful candidate will grow with the team and contribute to the AP function.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of previous relevant experience within an international, fast-paced company.
• Good level of English is mandatory.
• Experience as an ERP user (Oracle, SAP, SAGE, or other).
• Good MsOffice skills (particularly in Excel).
• Flexibility and ability to work autonomously, liaising with stakeholders based abroad.
• Attention to detail and ability to solve problems and prioritize requests.
• Ability to strive in a fast-paced international/multicultural complex environment.
• Eager to learn and grow with the team.

Responsibilities

• P2P process: receiving and processing invoices, assure smooth communication between all stakeholders.
• Review and assure proper classification of cost center and accounts on POs
• Weekly and Month-end closing procedures including aging reports
• Process Payments
• Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required
• Reconcile AP accounts on a monthly basis
• Assist manager and peers on the daily activity
• Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation
