Aubay Portugal is seeking a Senior Jira Architect to design and implement scalable Jira Cloud solutions with strong governance and security principles. You will lead architecture, migrations, and documentation while advising client teams on best practices in Atlassian tooling.

What will you do?

• Design and architect the functional and technical aspects of Jira Cloud, ensuring scalability and security.
• Define robust governance, administration, and maintainability principles for the Jira Cloud solution.
• Support the centralization of Jira projects while implementing proper data segregation and ensuring consistency across business units.
• Develop and implement Jira configuration models, including workflows, permissions, roles, and issue types, establishing reusable standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor, supporting project teams in requirements translation and challenging solutions to maintain simplicity and robustness, adhering to Atlassian best practices.
• Contribute to comprehensive documentation, covering solution design, governance, and user/administrator guides.

• Strong background in defining and executing data migration plans between Jira instances or from third-party tools.
• Proficiency in producing technical and functional documentation related to Jira configurations, workflows, and overall architecture.

• Proactive mindset with strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities, capable of ensuring consistency across complex environments.
