A DataSmart, localizada em Lisboa, procura um(a) Java Backend Developer para projetar e desenvolver aplicações Java de alta qualidade. O candidato ideal deve ter mais de 5 anos de experiência em Java, além de sólido conhecimento em tecnologias de banco de dados e arquitetura de microserviços.

Qualificações

• Mínimo de 5 anos de experiência em desenvolvimento Java 8+.
• Conhecimento sólido em tecnologias RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL).
• Experiência prática com Spring/Spring Boot.
• Entendimento de arquiteturas de aplicação (Microservices, Hexagonal Architecture, etc.).
• Experiência em design de API e serviços RESTful.

Responsabilidades

• Projetar, desenvolver e manter aplicações Java de alta qualidade.
• Implementar e otimizar microserviços e arquiteturas modulares.
• Construir e melhorar APIs RESTful e serviços de backend.
• Contribuir para pipelines de CI/CD e práticas DevOps.

Join our team as a Java Backend Developer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, andmaintainhigh-quality Java applications.
• Implement andoptimizemicroservices and modular architectures.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure strong database integration, query optimization, and data integrity.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring clean, maintainable, and secure code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sprint goals on time.
• Write andmaintaintechnical documentation.
• Ensure applications follow best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Java 8+ development.
• Solid knowledge of RDBMS technologies (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL).
• Hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Boot.
• Understanding of application architectures (Microservices, Hexagonal Architecture, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in API design and RESTful services.
• Experience working with AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
• Previousexperience in an Agile environment using Scrum.
• Portuguese and Englishproficiencyat a professional level(minimum B2).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
