Qualificações

3+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
Experience with Kubernetes and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with reactive programming (Mono / WebFlux).
Must be residing in Portugal and available for hybrid work in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Mid‑Level Back‑End Developer based in Portugal to join our team. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate has solid experience in microservices architecture, API design, and cloud‑based environments, with a strong focus on performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Work with GCP services to deploy and manage scalable applications.
Implement and support microservices architectures.
Use Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps) to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and code reviews.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
Troubleshoot and optimize system performance.

Requirements:

3+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
Experience with Kubernetes and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with reactive programming (Mono / WebFlux).
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Must be living in Portugal and available for hybrid work (1x per week) in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra.
