Job summary

Adecco Recursos Humanos is seeking a Cash Collections Specialist (Italian Speaker) based in Paço de Arcos, Oeiras. You will manage a centralized mailbox, triage inbound inquiries, and liaise with internal teams to resolve issues, applying credit controls where needed.

The role requires fluent Italian and strong English, high numeracy, and meticulous attention to detail. You will work independently, prioritize tasks, and use Excel and MS Access to reconcile transactions.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Italian (mandatory) and good command of English.
• Ability to reconcile high volume transactions.
• Good analytical skills.
• Professional manner and highly organized.
• Ability to multitask.
• High standard of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on your own initiative, prioritizing your own work.
• Excel advanced or intermediate skills.
• MS Access knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Management of a centralized mailbox, assigning inbound customer queries.
• Prioritize customer queries once logged.
• Investigate customer queries by liaising with internal departments by phone and email.
• Uphold or credit the charge in the rental system.
• Respond directly to the corporate customer or via the credit control team.
• Build rapport with the customer and credit control team.
• Identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
• Liaise with the data loading.
