Job summary

Mercier Consultancy Group is sourcing an Italian-speaking Anti-Financial Crime Customer Expert to join our international team in Greece. You will analyze transactions, conduct investigations, and guide Italian-speaking customers on security and protection of accounts in a fast-paced banking environment.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Italian and English, possess strong analytical skills, and be willing to relocate to Athens.

Qualifications

Native or fluent Italian (spoken and written) required.
Professional proficiency in English to coordinate with international team.
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail for detecting irregularities.
Interest or experience in banking, financial services, or compliance sectors.
EU passport holder or valid eligibility to work in Greece.
Willingness to relocate to Athens for the role.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze banking transactions to identify suspicious activity and AML compliance.
Investigate potential financial crimes and report findings to banking compliance teams.
Provide guidance to Italian-speaking customers regarding banking security and account protection.
Maintain thorough documentation of investigations and customer interactions per European banking regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine detection algorithms and fraud prevention workflows.
