Siemens is seeking a Test Manager to lead quality assurance across SiePortal workstreams, coordinating with solution teams, vendors, release management, and business stakeholders. You will ensure testing is strategically aligned, efficiently executed, and continuously improved in an international, collaborative environment.

You will drive transparency through reporting, manage test data, and guide end-to-end QA activities including IAT and UAT, while strengthening governance and quality

Qualificações

• Multiple years of IT project experience in roles such as Test Manager, QA Lead, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and defect management.
• Experience in agile software development environments.
• Familiarity with end-to-end application landscapes, integrations, and complex enterprise environments.
• Experience collaborating with distributed and international teams.
• Knowledge of ALM and modern testing tools is advantageous.
• Experience coordinating tests across multiple teams or vendors.
• Certifications such as ISTQB, PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar are a plus.
• Interest in AI technologies and their impact on QA, productivity, and teamwork is welcome.

As a Test Manager (f/m/d), you will play a central role in shaping and driving quality assurance activities across our workstreams and demand packages. Acting as the key interface between solution teams, vendors, release management, and business stakeholders, you will ensure that testing is strategically aligned, efficiently executed, and continuously improved.

Your mission will be…

• Drive the implementation of the SiePortal testing strategy within your assigned workstream and demand packages.
• Create transparency regarding product quality and testing progress through meaningful reporting, metrics, and stakeholder communication.
• Act as the central contact for all test-related topics within your workstream.
• Monitor test execution, analyze test results, identify improvement opportunities, and derive prioritized actions.
• Ensure that quality standards, testing processes, and governance guidelines are consistently applied.
• Coordinate testing activities across solution teams, vendors, and other workstreams.
• Support end-to-end quality assurance activities, from user story validation to Integration Acceptance Testing (IAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify risks, dependencies, and quality gaps early and proactively drive mitigation measures.
• Help establish knowledge transfer across teams and partners to continuously improve testing effectiveness.
• Foster strong collaboration with Operations, Release Management, Development, and Business teams.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• As Test Manager, you will own and coordinate a broad range of testing and quality assurance activities:
• Deriving and adapting workstream-specific test strategies based on the overall SiePortal test strategy.
• Aligning testing approaches and priorities with stakeholders and vendor teams.
• Monitoring test implementation, test case coverage, test execution, and defect management activities.
• Coordinating test data requirements together with Test Data Management.
• Ensuring transparency regarding implemented changes, test coverage, and quality risks.
• Maintaining and continuously improving test processes, defect triage procedures, documentation, and reporting.
• Supporting the planning and execution of specialized testing activities such as Performance, Security (CERT), and Penetration Testing.

We are looking for someone with…

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience & Knowledge

• Several years of experience in IT projects, ideally in a Test Manager, Quality Assurance Lead, Project Manager, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and defect management practices.
• Experience working in agile software development environments.
• Familiarity with end-to-end application landscapes, integrations, and complex enterprise environments.
• Experience collaborating with distributed and international teams.
• Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and modern testing tools is highly beneficial.
• Experience with test coordination across multiple teams or vendors is considered a strong advantage.
• Certifications such as ISTQB, PMP, Agile, Scrum, or comparable qualifications are a plus.
• Interest in modern AI technologies and an understanding of how they can improve quality assurance, productivity, and team collaboration is highly welcome.
