Siemens Mobility in Portugal is seeking a Test Manager to shape and drive quality assurance across SiePortal workstreams and demand packages. You will ensure testing is strategically aligned, efficiently executed, and continuously improved in an international, collaborative environment.

The role requires coordinating across vendors, solution teams, and business stakeholders, with a focus on end-to-end QA activities and risk mitigation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in IT projects, ideally in a Test Manager, Quality Assurance Lead, Project Manager, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and defect management practices.
• Experience working in agile software development environments.
• Familiarity with end-to-end application landscapes, integrations, and complex enterprise environments.
• Experience collaborating with distributed and international teams.
• Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and modern testing tools is highly beneficial.
• Experience with test coordination across multiple teams or vendors is considered a strong advantage.
• Certifications such as ISTQB, PMP, Agile, Scrum, or comparable qualifications are a plus.
• Interest in modern AI technologies and an understanding of how they can improve quality assurance, productivity, and team collaboration is highly welcome.

Responsabilidades

• Drive the implementation of the SiePortal testing strategy within your assigned workstream and demand packages.
• Create transparency regarding product quality and testing progress through meaningful reporting, metrics, and stakeholder communication.
• Act as the central contact for all test-related topics within your workstream.
• Monitor test execution, analyze test results, identify improvement opportunities, and derive prioritized actions.
• Ensure that quality standards, testing processes, and governance guidelines are consistently applied.
• Coordinate testing activities across solution teams, vendors, and other workstreams.
• Support end-to-end quality assurance activities, from user story validation to Integration Acceptance Testing (IAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify risks, dependencies, and quality gaps early and proactively drive mitigation measures.
• Help establish knowledge transfer across teams and partners to continuously improve testing effectiveness.
• Foster strong collaboration with Operations, Release Management, Development, and Business teams.
