Oceanwave Maritime in Funchal, Portugal, is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to provide technical support to clients and ensure smooth operation of computer systems and networks. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, install and configure systems, perform maintenance, and conduct end-user training to improve daily productivity.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 2 years experience as IT Support Technician or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 7/8/10/11).
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and basic network concepts.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP and basic network troubleshooting.
• Fluent in Portuguese (written and spoken) with good English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to clients via phone, email or in-person.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops and peripherals.
• Install and configure new computer systems and software applications.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates and backups.
• Conduct end-user training on basic computer operations and software.
• Diagnose network connectivity issues and resolve them promptly.
• Maintain records of support activities in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with team to identify recurring issues and implement solutions.
