Job summary

Stadler Digital Labs in Coimbra, Portugal, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver first-line remote and on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Experience providing first-line remote and on-site technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Experience imaging, configuring and maintaining operating systems and IT assets, ideally with deployment tools.

Responsibilities

• Image, configure and deploy laptops and workstations (OS, encryption, endpoint protection).
• Provide first-line remote and on-site support, and troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity incidents.
• Set up and connect project networks and devices (switches, access points, printers, test equipment).
• Liaise with Group IT for account creation, access management, licensing and escalations.
• Log, track and elevate tickets, and document solutions and procedures.
• Keep the asset inventory up to date.
• Provide operational support for Microsoft 365 services and related tools.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Copilot deployments, onboarding and adoption initiatives.
• Contribute to security, governance and compliance in Microsoft 365 environment.
• Develop and maintain automation and standardisation of IT processes using PowerShell or Graph.
