About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior IT Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to help ensure the stability, security, and operational readiness of production services throughout the project lifecycle. Working within an Agile and DevOps environment, you will bring production and infrastructure requirements into solution design, product backlogs, deployments, monitoring, and continuous-improvement initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for an infrastructure and operations professional who understands that reliable production services begin during design and delivery—not only after an application goes live.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Solutions and Production Readiness

• Contribute to the definition of technical and infrastructure solutions;
• Promote existing products and services that reduce delivery time and operational risk;
• Incorporate resilience,monitoring, security, capacity, and supportability into solution designs;
• Advise project teams oninfrastructure and production technologies;
• Identify potential conflicts with architecture, security, scalability, and delivery standards;
• Translate production requirements into technical user stories and backlog items;
• Support development teams in delivering solutions securely and efficiently;
• Implement technical user stories or coordinate the required specialists.

Environments and Deployment

• Provision and support production and non-production environments;
• Coordinate the infrastructure expertise and services required by applications;
• Facilitate solution deployments;
• Confirm environment readiness, including performance, access, backup, and restore capabilities;
• Review or supportsecurity assessments;
• Verify the traceabilityof infrastructure and machine access;
• Identify blockersinvolving networks, security, connectivity, flows, or infrastructure;
• Define action plans andcoordinate their resolution.

Operations and Service Reliability

• Maintain services in operational condition;
• Define service levels, production indicators, and monitoring requirements;
• Implement monitoring and supervision for production solutions;
• Ensure that installation and operating documentation remains current;
• Confirm that backup andswitchover plans exist and are tested;
• Support release incidents and operational blockages;
• Investigate and coordinate the resolution of production issues;
• Work with Application Production Support on reliability improvements;
• Promote automation, performance optimisation, and operational efficiency.

Team Enablement

• Promote application-production best practices;
• Help product and project teams use Agile and DevOps tools effectively;
• Share operationalknowledge across teams;
• Support technicaldecision-making and continuous improvement;
• Coordinate contributorsand encourage ownership of production quality.

Essential Requirements

• At least two years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, production engineering, DevOps, or a similar role;
• Practical knowledge of IT infrastructure and production operations;
• Experience supporting production and non-production environments;
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with servicemonitoring and observability;
• Understanding of DevOpsdelivery chains and CI/CD practices;
• Familiarity with IT risk, cybersecurity, resilience, and operational controls;
• Experience supporting deployments, releases, and production incidents;
• Ability to translate infrastructure requirements into technical actions or backlog items;
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps teams;
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, coordination, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to communicate professionally in English;
• Availability to work ina hybrid arrangement in Lisbon;
• Ability to traveloutside Portugal when required.
