Job summary

Olisipo procura um Engenheiro de Operações de Plataforma MuleSoft Sénior em Lisboa para gerir operações diárias Level 3, automação e melhoria de serviços. Irá tratar escalonamentos de L2, monitorizar sistemas e otimizar a capacidade da plataforma.

Requer 5–7 anos de experiência MuleSoft, conhecimento de Omni Gateway, Terraform, OpenShift e padrões de segurança API; Inglês C1. Regime de trabalho híbrido.

Qualifications

• Diploma em Ciência da Computação ou área equivalente.
• 5–7 anos de experiência em gestão da plataforma MuleSoft (operações, não desenvolvimento de APIs).
• Domínio de MuleSoft Omni Gateway (Flex Gateway), Terraform, GitHub, OpenShift e Argo CI/CD.
• Conhecimento de mecanismos de autenticação/autorização e padrões de segurança de API (OAuth, OpenID).
• Conhecimento foundational de AWS e Azure, bem como competências ITIL.
• Gestão e comunicação com stakeholders, sintetizar informação técnica e facilitar workshops em ambiente multicultural.

Responsibilities

• Entregar operações diárias Level 3, manutenção, solicitações de serviço e tickets escalados de L2 dentro de SLAs.
• Solucionar problemas com logs, ferramentas de monitorização e diagnósticos, realizar RCA e ações corretivas.
• Desenvolver e manter scripts de automação para tarefas operacionais repetitivas e melhoria contínua.
• Gerir capacidade e desempenho da plataforma para disponibilidade, escalabilidade e redução de riscos.
• Apoiar deployments, releases, mudanças de produção e incidentes, incluindo suporte 24/7 quando necessário.
• Criar documentação operacional, SOPs, artigos de conhecimento, relatórios KPI e atuar como interface com fornecedores internacionais.

Job description

Profile:

• Mandatory residency in Portugal;
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant field;
• 5 to 7 years of expertise in MuleSoft platform management (platform operations, not API development);
• Expertise in MuleSoft Omni Gateway (Flex Gateway), Terraform, GitHub, OpenShift, and Argo CI/CD;
• Knowledge of Authentication e Authorization mechanisms and API security standards/implementation (OAuth, OpenID);
• Foundational level knowledge in AWS and Azure, alongside ITIL Process competencies;
• Stakeholder engagement and communication expertise, including technical information synthesis, multicultural environment collaboration, workshop/stakeholder facilitation, and influence management;
• Knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, WS-*, Java, JSON, network fundamentals (Virtual IPs, firewalls, load balancers), certificate lifecycle management, SOAPUI, Postman (user level), Silva, and Linux;
• Professional English environment (C1).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily Level 3 operations, maintenance, service requests, and handling of escalated tickets from L2 support teams within defined SLA timelines;
• Perform troubleshooting using logs, monitoring tools, and system diagnostics, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommending corrective actions;
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for repetitive operational tasks to drive continuous service improvement and reduce manual effort;
• Manage platform capacity and performance to ensure availability, scalability, optimal resource utilization, and risk mitigation;
• Support deployment, release, production change activities, major incidents, and service restoration, including on‑call or after‑hours support when required;
• Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, KPI tracking reports, and interface effectively between internal and external international providers.
