Job summary

Olisipo is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality solutions using Java/Spring Boot on the backend and React/Next.js on the frontend. You will act as a technical reference, help shape architecture, perform code reviews, and ensure code quality through TDD/BDD, while implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.

The team operates in a hybrid model in Lisbon, with training opportunities, certifications, and access to learning resources to grow

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant technical field (Licenciatura).
• 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Back-end expertise in Java, Spring Boot Framework, REST API design and implementation, SQL and relational databases (MS SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS), and Hibernate / JPA;
• Front-end development expertise with React and Next.js;
• Proficiency with version control (GIT), package managers (Maven), technical documentation (Confluence, IcePanel), and writing unit and integration tests (TDD / BDD);
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and GitHub workflows and actions;
• Knowledge of application architecture (Microservices, Hexagonal Architecture, Event-driven Architecture) and AWS or other cloud platforms;
• Languages: Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality fullstack solutions using Java/Spring Boot and React/Next.js;
• Act as a technical reference, contributing to architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical design processes;
• Ensure code quality, optimization, troubleshooting, and bug fixing through best practices and testing methodologies (TDD / BDD);
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated GitHub workflows to support continuous delivery;
• Produce clear technical documentation (Confluence, IcePanel);
• Collaborate effectively in a flat, self-managed team environment through practices like pair programming.
