Siemens Energy is seeking a GIS installation or commissioning specialist to join our team in Portugal. You will perform on-site mechanical and electrical assembly of GIS equipment, conduct commissioning inspections, and troubleshoot to ensure safety and quality.

This role requires travel 80-90% internationally, a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, strong problem- solving abilities, and fluency in English.

Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
Willingness to travel extensively, with availability for travel abroad 80-90% of the time.
Fluency in English, with outstanding communication skills.

Responsabilidades

Conduct on-site mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting of GIS equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Perform commissioning and pre-commissioning inspections for Gas Insulated Switchgear systems, documenting results and addressing any discrepancies.
Prioritize health and safety by conducting risk assessments and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution, contributing to electrification efforts.
Provide technical support and training to local teams and clients, empowering them to implement our innovative solutions effectively.
Document findings, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project teams and customers.
