Siemens Energy Unipessoal Lda. in Portugal seeks a GIS installation or commissioning specialist to perform on-site mechanical and electrical assembly of GIS equipment and troubleshoot, while ensuring safety and quality standards. You will support project teams and contribute to sustainable energy solutions.

You will travel extensively (80-90%), collaborate with local and global teams, and provide technical training and documentation to stakeholders, helping advance electrification initiatives.

Qualificações

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong problem-solving and a hands-on approach to engineering.
• Willingness to travel 80-90% of the time.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct on-site mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting of GIS equipment, ensuring safety and quality.
• Perform commissioning and pre-commissioning inspections for Gas Insulated Switchgear systems, documenting results.
• Prioritize health and safety by conducting risk assessments and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely project execution for electrification efforts.
• Provide technical support and training to local teams and clients.
• Document findings and prepare reports for stakeholders.
