Ricoh in Lisbon seeks an Infrastructure Deployment Specialist to deliver IT infrastructure projects across customer environments, focusing on Microsoft technologies, virtualization, storage and backup. The role requires hands-on expertise with Hyper‑V, VMware, and enterprise storage and backup solutions.

The successful candidate will install and maintain Microsoft-based environments, drive migrations with minimal disruption, and act as a trusted advisor to customers while producing documentation

Qualificações

• 5-8 years of experience delivering infrastructure projects in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, AD, Microsoft 365, Intune).
• Experience implementing and administering Hyper-V and VMware environments.
• Solid knowledge of storage technologies and enterprise storage platforms.
• Hands-on experience with backup/recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Dell PowerProtect).
• Experience with enterprise hardware vendors (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, NetApp).
• Security exposure with Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco is advantageous.

As an Infrastructure Deployment Specialist, you will join a team of experts delivering cutting‑edge infrastructure projects, working with Microsoft technologies, virtualization, storage and backup solutions to help customers modernise their IT landscape.

What you will be doing

• Lead the deployment, implementation and migration of IT infrastructure solutions across customer environments.
• Deliver infrastructure projects involving Microsoft technologies, virtualization, storage and backup solutions.
• Install, configure and maintain Microsoft-based environments, ensuring high availability and business continuity.
• Execute infrastructure migrations, upgrades and transformation projects with minimal impact on customer operations.
• Support the design and implementation of virtualization platforms including Hyper‑V and VMware environments.
• Deploy and manage storage and backup solutions in enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work directly with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor during deployments and project implementations.
• Produce technical documentation and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure successful handover of implemented solutions.
• Participate in on‑call and out‑of‑hours activities when required for project deployments and critical migrations.

You will ideally have

• 5-8 years of experience delivering infrastructure projects and IT deployments in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Intune.
• Proven experience implementing and administering Hyper‑V and VMware environments.
• Solid knowledge of storage technologies and enterprise storage platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, Dell PowerProtect or similar.
• Experience working with infrastructure vendors including Dell, HPE, Lenovo, NetApp or equivalent enterprise technologies.
• Exposure to security technologies such as Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco or similar solutions would be advantageous.
• Experience performing infrastructure migrations, upgrades and transformation projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects and manage technical delivery with limited supervision.
• Customer‑facing experience and strong communication skills.
• Portuguese native and Fluent professional English.
