CALB (Europe) S.A is seeking a Power Engineer to join the construction team in Sines. You will lead construction management for power systems, coordinate design and construction units, and ensure smooth inspection and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities include budgeting, bidding, drawings review, program preparation, and post-construction maintenance of power facilities. English proficiency and 8+ years in a related field are required.

Qualificações

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a related position.
Experience in industrial environments.
Degree related to the field (Electrical Engineering).
Proficiency in English and willingness to work in a dynamic, multicultural setting.

Responsabilidades

Oversee construction management of power-related components and coordinate with design, construction, supervision units and service companies.
Participate in pre-project budgeting, bidding, and related technical management tasks for the power specialty.
Review power drawings, reviews changes, prepare technical programs and manage associated technical tasks.
Ensure quality, progress, cost control, and solve professional/technical problems during construction.
Organize initial inspections and oversee completion acceptance, data reviews and settlement procedures.
Maintain and repair power facilities post-construction, including CDA, N2, NMP, refrigeration, boiler, wastewater, PCW, hot water systems, etc.
Report and inspect special equipment and pressure piping in line with certification requirements.

CALB (Europe) S.A is looking for a Power Engineer to join our construction team in Sines.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the construction management of the construction project power, including the management of the design unit, construction unit, supervision unit, service company and other management, and with the project site inspection department and other docking management;
Participate in pre-project budgeting, project bidding and other technical management work related to the power specialty;
Responsible for the review of power specialty drawings, change review, technical program preparation and other technical management;
During the construction process, all-round management of mechanical engineering is carried out, focusing on the control of the quality, progress and cost of infrastructure construction, and solving specific professional and technical problems arising during construction;
Organize the initial inspection of unit works and individual projects and organize the completion of acceptance, review of completion data, completion procedures for the completion of the settlement and other work;
After the construction of the plant, we are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the power facilities as well as the renovation work related to the power specialty. For example: CDA system, N2 system, NMP system, refrigeration station system, boiler system, pure wastewater system, PCW system, hot water system, etc.
Responsible for the reporting and inspection of special equipment and pressure piping, which involves the certification requirements of the profession;
