Job summary

Capgemini Engineering Portugal is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the technical planning, coordination, and delivery of complex telecom software projects across design, integration, validation and acceptance. You will collaborate with Managed Services, NPI, Care and R&D teams, acting as the main technical reference and ensuring alignment, risk control and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical project management within Telecom software solutions.
• Strong understanding of multi-domain integration projects.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux and database tech (Aerospike, MariaDB, Oracle, SQL).
• Familiarity with IP networking and telecom protocols (Diameter, HTTP2, SIP, SOAP/XML, SNMP).
• Experience with cloud/virtualized environments (VNF/CNF, VMware, OpenStack).
• Exposure to OSS/BSS platforms and telecom frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and drive project execution from initiation to acceptance.
• Plan activities, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for alignment and delivery.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor progress and report results to stakeholders.
• Manage customer-facing activities and relationships.
• Interface between project teams and R&D organizations.
• Review and validate technical documentation (HLD/LLD/SVS/Tests).
• Coordinate testing, validation, acceptance, and integration activities.
• Ensure technical quality standards and governance.
