Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and delivery of complex telecom projects. You will drive cross-functional teams across Design, Integration, Validation, and Acceptance to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires expertise in telecom software, cloud, virtualized networks, and strong stakeholder management. Hybrid work with global opportunities and a focus on customer satisfaction are on offer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Technical Project Management within Telecom software development, implementation, or system integration environments.
• Solid understanding of software-based telecommunications solutions and delivery processes.
• Experience coordinating complex application integration projects across multiple domains and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with databases such as Aerospike, MariaDB, Oracle, and SQL.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and telecom protocols, including Diameter, HTTP2, SIP, SOAP/XML, SNMP, VNF / CNF, CBIS / CBAM, NCS / NCOM, VMware, OpenStack, HSS / HLR, SDL, AUSF / UDM, EIR, One-MNP, One-NDS.
• PMI certification or formal Project Management training is considered an advantage.
• Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management experience.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leading project initiation, setup, planning, and execution activities.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project dependencies.
• Identifying technical and delivery risks and defining mitigation plans.
• Tracking project progress and ensuring alignment with agreed milestones and deliverables.
• Producing regular project status reports, including achievements, progress, issues, risks, and next steps.
• Managing customer-facing activities and acting as a trusted technical point of contact.
• Collaborating with R&D teams to address technical challenges and product-related topics.
• Reviewing and validating technical documentation, including HLD, LLD, SVS, Test Strategies, ATPs, and MOPs.
• Coordinating testing, validation, acceptance, and deployment activities.
• Ensuring project governance, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently met.
